- Am I comfortable with this person being in my home?
- Do you communicate well with the contractor?
- Does the contractor have a concrete grasp of my project and have they shown they can listen to me and my ideas?
- Is the price I’ve been given firm or subject to escalation?
- What is your warranty?
- How long have you been in business?
- Do you have longstanding relationships with your sub-contractors?
- How many projects like this have you completed in the last year?
